OUR VISIT
To be frank, Barcelona had been quite intense schedule- and impression-vise. Knowing that, one could think we would have done óf two things: either enjoy the serenity up on a mountain overlooking a beautiful city, or be too tired to grasp any of it, and beyond that failing at pre-research.

We went with the second choice.

So we stood in line, we paid the fee, we went over the sea in a tiny metal cage hooked on a thin metal wire, we found a graffiti wall, we did not find food, we went down again, we went to the beach and ate ice cream instead.

The day was pretty much complete anyway.

What we want to say is, we are not sure if it is worth it's 16.50 €, especially when we found out that you can get up on Montjuïc by public transport.  Go to Pl. Espanya - Av Reina Maria Cristina  (3 minutes walking from Pl. Espanya) with metro, and change to bus 150 towards Castell de Montjuïc. Jump of at Castell and you'll be hiking a mountain for the price of an ordinary bus ticket.

So yeah, while up there's a ton of stuff to do like taking another cable car up to the very top, or walk in the gardens, or eat overpriced food, or go to the Miró museum. But we just didn't have the energy.

Mostly because when in Barcelona, there is always

TOO LITTLE TIME,
TOO MUCH TAPAS TO EAT
