This one is especially important to me because how we have traveled in the past. It never occurred to me to read up on how animals were treated in different places, like in zoos and other touristy places. I stumbeled upon it when I said I wanted to ride an elephant in Thailand. My friend pointed out to me that they might hit and hurt the elephants - I just never thought about it before, stupid enough. That opened up a word of read beforehand before going to places. And that's why Elephant Park exites me so much; they do not only take good care of "their" elephants, they also inform about the cruel life that awaits an elephant in showbiz. - Felicia
