STREET ART OF GOTHENBURG

In the last couple of years, we've enjoyed street art around the world as a highlight of our trip. Just take Lennon Wall in Prague or the mosaic wall in Hanoi as an example. So when we started to explore our own city, we started seeing street art everywhere.

Why not photopraph it then, we figured, and off we went.

This expedition's participants were Felicia, art freak as you already might now, and Josy, who you met in this post.

So... does Gothenburg have any cool street art at all?

We'll see.

At Stenpiren and former ferry stop Rosenlund we found a whole exhibition...

We especially fell in love with this cute cat/dog. I still claim it's a dog, but I think both Josy and Jonathan are going to convince me it is really a cat.

We continued our walk over to Kommersen, at tram stop Masthuggstorget. There, they have a whole house that's been covered in graffiti all my life.

Some better, some worse, though...

Soon after this, the sun was setting and we were tired. Josy ended up sleeping at our place, situated just a few tramstops from Kommersen, and after several glasses of wine we were happy to call it a day.

Did we miss any other
meeting points where graffiti, art
(and quite frankly) vandalism
goes hand in hand?

Any thought on today's
catch?
