MOVING ON - ABOUT ASIA, NEXT TIME AROUND

The world is big and bold and waiting right there, but for now, other, less adventerous things has to claim its place in our lives too.

Since Felicia came home from North America, a lot of exiting thing have happened in Sweden for us. Jonathan has started a new job at Volvo and Felicia works for a daycare until Christmas. With a 9-5 lifestyle for the first time in our grown-up lives, the cameralens starts to focus on other things and before we knew it, we had found an appartment.

It all happened very fast. A tuesday in september, Felicia was home sick searching for places to stay. Within half an hour the phone rang. "Do you want to come look at a place, like, tonight?" the voice on the phone said and off we went, feverish and all.

We got to see the appartment and decided there on the spot that we wanted it. The very same weekend we started to ship stuff there and by sunday night, we were all done.

We've lived here for more than 6 weeks now and we still feel euphoric. So euphoric that everything else kind of faded away and everything was work, rent and buying new cheeseslizers at IKEA. Every day started to circle around making dinner, making dishes, talking about our day and enjoying each others company in our own sphere. Life was here and now for once and it was absolutely amazing.

But we are who we are.
This week, we sat down and talked about our next going, the longer trip we plan to do next autum, almost a year from now. We've been postponing even the talk about it as it has felt soo far away, soo much time until then, but when we finally talked about it, our traveling souls woke from their long hibernation.

So where are we going next autumn?

OUR PLANS INVOLVE

☮ Disneyland Shanghai 

☮ Seoul 

☮ Revisiting Hong Kong 

☮ Going crazy in Tokyo 

☮ Tokyo Disneyland 

☮ A month-long trip in Vietnam,
with a lot of it spent in Hanoi 

☮ Potentially a visit to Angkor Wat 

☮ Petting some elephants in Elephant Nature Park
 in Chiang Mai, again 

☮ Possibly going south and make a better second impression
of Indonesia

Our dream, if money is not the issue, is that we go to eastern Europe from there and make ASIA 3.0 EURASIA 1.0. But even though we have solid salaries for now there's a lot of other things that cost when you don't live on your parents anymore, so if it's a possibilty or are dream, we can't know for now.
