DAY ONE
The day started with a pre-breakfast stroll to just-outside-our-hotel Hospital de Sant Paul, and then onwards to Sagrada Familia, which was like... 7 minute walk from where we stayed. Priiitty neat.
Breakfast was then eaten in front of Casa Batllo.
We took Placa Catalunya as a starting point and then slowly paced La Rambla down towards the water.
with a little detour to Palau de la Música - not inside it, though. Too much to see and too small budget, basically.
-------
DAY TWO
Starting at the end of La Rambla, at the Disneystore!
No new toys purchased, sadly enough.
We then wandered around until we were hungry, and then it was La Boqueria-time.
Empanadas and strawbrrys for lunch and then off to dreamy Park Güell.
-------
PARK GÜELL
...We kind of failed at getting there, though.
But it sure was a nice outing, going with the bus up on mountain 'til the line ended...
Nope. No it wasn't. Not with a deadline hanging over us.
But in the end, we did make it to Park Güell in time for our tickets.
And life was good. Really good.

BUNKERS DE CAN BARÓ
We ended the day with a little climb up to the Bunker de Can Baró.
Quite breathtaking.

DAY THREE
We were going on adventures today! We were going to climb a mountain, and explore, and give ourselves a cultural update... only that we were kind of really extremely tired.
So much so the time spent up on Montjuïc was only about 1 hour, only walking, seing nothing but roads and trees. Also: is there supposed to be a castle up there? I guess we missed it...
So we descended the mountain cablecar-style and took to the beach, where we ate ice cream and chicken nuggets and enjoyed the sun for a while.
(Also, there is a lot of barebreasted hunks jogging and exercising if you are looking for eye candy)
On the way towards nothing, we stumbled upon a wall.

I'm starting to realize this post features a lot of Julia and not so much Felicia.
Hm.
Well. Moving on.
Where were we?
-------
DAY FOUR
Montserrat making it in to our list of activites was touch and go there for a while, but we are so glad we decided on doing it.
Julia drank three whole glasses of red wine (much to Felicia's despair, since she hoped her little sister would give her her wine as well) and both returned home with a bottle of the cheepest wine they had as a souvenir, loads and loads of pictures and solely happy memories of the day.

THAT WAS ABOUT IT.
